My wife and I have been fans of the Trattoria Timone for the past 23 years and we can always count on the great service and the fantastic food. We have found that if you make a reservation far enough in advance and pick your favorite table, the experience is garanteed to be a pleasing event.

It seems it is most always the complainers or those who wait until the last minute to make a reservation or have no reservation that frequent these sites to moan and groan.

Don't bi-pass this restaraunt based on some of the reviews since it is top drawer.

My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant last weekend, and were very disappointed. We had made a reservation, yet we got a bad table in the middle of the aisle and close to the bathroom. We were given bread but no bread plates. My boyfriend ordered a beer and I ordered a strawberry daiquiri. The daiquiri wasn't mixed at all. It was a bad tasting strawberry mix with some crushed ice on top. I don't think it was mixed in a blender. Terrible. I sent it back and got a beer. Our starters were okay, but my boyfriend ordered a warm goat cheese salad and the goat cheese was just a big ball of cheese. Our main dishes were awful. I had the butternut squash ravioli, which I've loved at other restaurants and even when I made it myself from a Longo's recipe, but here it was bad. There wasn't much taste other than one spice in it which tasted like perfume. The

Been there twice - as a couple, and again with another couple. Food was great both times. Service was good as well. We are returning today!

I had the same problem with the waiter! He took forever! And the food didnt really make up for it. The Risotto was more like seasoned rice and my veal was overly greasy. But the expirience would have been better had the waiter given us a little more attention.

Excellent food but we were not lucky with the waiter. Maybe because we did not have wine.....maybe....I am not sure if am I going to go again. Sometimes is not only about food. The waiter was really chatty chatty with some other tables but he never ever asked us how the food was....mistake...big mistake
