Do not be fooled by the pics of the restaurant on the Jam website. I had dinner at the Oakville location and although the service was great, the food was bland and unauthentic and the decor was just plain cheesy. Red curry tasted like it was made with pre-packaged ingredients and more like an Indian curry as opposed to a Thai curry which I believe is what the menu description said. My boyfriend stated the pad thai was the worst he's ever had and he's had A LOT. A dish with spicy peanut sauce had barely there peanut taste and while my seared ahi tuna encrusted with sesame was not bad, the sauteed vegetables heaped underneath were cold, limp and tasteless. The decor reminded me of a typical low brow Canadian restaurant (tv playing Rocky in the corner and bad dance music playing) intermixed with lace black curtains which juxtaposed against a wooden wall with some buddhas which seemed to be added as an afterthought like 'oh yeah, we're supposed to be an asian fusion restaurant!
